CENTRAL Coast schools have again excelled at the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge at Sydney Entertainment Centre.
Terrigal High School was third in the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge premier division Sydney grand final on Friday night.
The division was won by Mackellar Girls High School whose performance 'The Grapes of Wrath' used elaborate sets and costumes to explore the story of the Joades family and their trip from Oklahoma to California. Randwick Girls/Boys High School was awarded second place for its performance based on Australian pioneers The Burley Brothers and their brand Berlei.
And Terrigal High School won third place for a performance exploring the connection between communication and homelessness.
St Peter's Catholic College, at Tuggerah, won the RAW division grand final on Wednesday, while Lisarow High School and Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College - Tumbi Umbi Campus both won the Award of Excellence for Student Leadership on their nights.
