STRIKE Force Raptor police attending a road crash at Mount White on Sunday have charged a woman with drug-related offences after allegedly finding cannabis in the vehicle.
The Highway Patrol officers were travelling south on the F3 Freeway at Mount White just before 3am when they spotted a vehicle which had crashed into a rock wall.
The officers rendered assistance to the uninjured occupants who advised them they lost control of the car when it hit a puddle of water.
Police said that a search of the car revealed alleged links to the Lone Wolf and Finks OMCGs.
The highway patrolmen searched the car and allegedly found two bags of cannabis, a quantity of cash and other items.
The 38-year-old female driver was arrested and taken to Hornsby Police Station where she was charged by SF Raptor and State Crime Command Gangs Squad officers with possession of a prohibited drug, recklessly deal with the proceeds of crime and deal with property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
She was granted strict conditional bail and ordered to appear before the Hornsby Local Court later this month.
Police said investigations are continuing in relation to the items seized.
